I’m so anxious to show you the real box and not just a mock-up proof copy. As soon as I get mine in, I’ll share it with you.
The image on the box represents the “settings” of the story–it shows a woman walking into the unknown strange world ‘beyond the veil.’
This beyond the veil concept is woven into each of the books of the Return to Me series.
The three books in the series, The Last Noel, Me, Myself, & It, and That Beautiful Shore will arrive together in this lovely, hard-cover box –at the home of everyone who wants it!
Scholastic Book Fair.
When I was a girl I used to love the Scholastic Book Fair. I still have on my shelves 2 of my favorite box sets of books:
- the Newbery Award winners of way back then (Johnny Tremain, Witch of Blackbird Pond, etc), and
- the Rescuers 5 book set–with Miss Bianca and Bernard’s adventures.
🏠 Box sets are like safe little homes for our favorite books.
To think this beautiful set of books that I wrote will have a home of their own on YOUR bookshelf –brings a deep warmth to my heart. 😭

What are the stories?
THE LAST NOEL: Reuben’s story is about fire captain Reuben Morales who must lead a Christmas pageant to save the family honor. But when his unsaved sister dies in a car crash during the holidays, he has to find a way to grieve and rejoice at the same time. His story pivots with a dream where he sees beyond the veil to the throne room of God. A Christmas story.
ME, MYSELF, AND IT: Vera’s story about Reuben’s sister begins three years earlier and ends where The Last Noel begins. A Halloween Story
THAT BEAUTIFUL SHORE: Monica’s story is about Reuben’s wife, Monica Morales. A Fourth of July story.
All three books walk you through the DOOR of unseen realities to discover what we know are real and what we speculate are true.
