I came across this graphic, and was floored by the blatant lies in it. The same message that Satan spoke in the garden:
“You shall not surely die”… new version…
There is a war. Between darkness and light. There is no friendship. There is only a separation of light and darkness. From the beginning, God has been separating things. Sorting things. You will be sorted. You will be measured.
Life is a Filter that separates people into two groups: Sons of Light and Sons of Darkness. Your deeds are being weighed, and your works measured. These are all being written in the books that will be opened on Judgment Day. You will fall into one camp or the other, based on your deeds. Your deeds will prove what is true about you.
And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. John 3:19
Your deeds will prove if you are of the light, if you are in the Book of Life. As John Piper said, “Being in the book means you will not apostatize. You won’t forsake the faith.”
Are you living for Jesus? Do you love Jesus? Do you only want Him to find pleasure in you?
Or are you living for this world, taking pleasure for yourself, loving yourself and the things of this world?
Do not come to the end of your life to find you were sorted into the DARKNESS group. It will not go well for you.
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” That name is Jesus. It is for you.
